Casemate de Kilstett

In the allotment of the Forest, is a work of the Maginot line, which dates from the years 1932-1934: the casemate of Kilstett. This casemate is a work of third line, known as of the villages, which had for mission to prohibit the passage on the dirt roads connecting Kilstett to the forest of the Rhine, and to prevent thus that an enemy infiltration emerges from the forest located at 500 meters in the Southeast of Kilstett. To discover the interior installations, a small guided tour, on reservation, is essential. Opened punctually.
