Hike between a semi-troglodytic castle and the highest point of the Northern Vosges.
Beautiful hike on the massifs of the Northern Vosges punctuated by some points of interest: semi-troglodytic castle of Hohenfels then small detour by the panoramic tower of Grand Wintersberg which offers a superb 360° view! From Niederbronn-les-Bains by car, follow the D653 in the direction of Dambach, parking between the church and the village chapel - towards Neunhoffen, take the Club Vosgien path on the left towards the castle ruins - pass the Molloch pass - Riesthal pass - optional detour to the Grand Wintersberg panoramic tower - then back to Dambach. More info: ruin of the Hohenfels dating from the 13th century - Grand Wintersberg, situated at 581 metres above sea level, highest point in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park.
