CHÂTEAU BRIACE

France > Pays de la Loire > Loire-Atlantique > 44430 > Le Landreau > Briacé

Historically, one of the oldest wine estates in the Nantes vineyards, Château Briacé became in 1957 a place of education and transmission of know-how in wine production.

The Briacé school estate is today a real life-size practice ground for the students of the Briacé High School and Continuing Education! Adjacent to the school, the estate serves as a teaching aid for the students, who participate in the daily tasks of the estate with the employees of the estate. The wines of Château Briacé are produced under three appellations: AOC Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, AOC Gros Plant du Pays Nantais and IGP Val de Loire. Respectful of the environment, the domain is led in reasoned agriculture (label Terra Vitis) since 2001. Today, 7 hectares are worked in organic agriculture, the majority of the domain being in the process of conversion. No insecticide is used on the vines of the domain since 1998. Throughout the year, come with your family or friends to discover our wines made in collaboration with the winemakers of tomorrow! Whether it is during a tasting, a cellar visit or an initiation to wine tasting, share with our team moments of pleasure and passion!
