Lac Vert

The Lac Vert is located on the Tanet massif at 1053 meters altitude. Its surface area is 7.2 ha. It owes its name to the reflection of the fir trees that surround it and to an algae that proliferates from the end of June to the end of July Sometimes, on Sunday morning you can hear the sound of alpine horns adding to the magic of the place. The lake is easy to reach, you can park your car nearby (access by road from Munster to the Schlucht pass and forest road from kilometre 12). Suggested itinerary: Lac Vert and Lac du Forlet via the ridges (2h).
