Vins Domaine Laurent Vogt

The wine estate of the Vogt family is located in the commune of Wolxheim at the beginning of the Alsace wine route in the vineyard of Strasbourg called the Golden Crown. This wine city is famous for its wine: the Riesling because the commune has two exceptional soils: the Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim and the place called Rothstein. The Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim is located on the limestone cliff of the Horn where the soil produces racy wines. While the vineyard of the place called Rothstein facing south and sheltered by the former royal quarry produces subtle wines. The 11 hectare Vogt estate has parcels scattered on the bank of Wolxheim, Avolsheim, Dahlenheim and Molsheim, which allows it to produce racy and typical wines. The work of the vine following the specifications of the Organic Agriculture tends towards the research of the quality on all the range of the wines of Alsace, Late Harvest, Crémants of Alsace, natural wines.... The domain also has a whole range of eaux de vie elaborated by its care. The Vogt family offers a visit of the cellar and a free tasting for individual visitors. Groups of up to 30 people are welcome, but there is a charge for the service. The cellar is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
