On the south side (park side) of the Jesuit church in Molsheim there are 5 sundials (ca. 1750). Four are engraved on the pillars, the fifth is on the sill of a 4th floor window The first, located on the 1st pillar, is about 1.7 m above the ground and measures 52 cm wide by 41.5 cm high. It declines towards the southeast. The very thin hourly lines run from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Arabic numerals) The 2nd is on a small buttress declining to the west. It is very finely traced on a table 58 cm wide by 42 cm high (1.60 m above the ground). Its hourly lines are barely visible. There is no more style. The 3rd dial, two pillars before the turret, located 95 cm from the ground, also declines towards the west. Its table measures 66 cm wide by 40 cm high. The style has also disappeared. On the coping of the 4th window of the south tower is engraved a horizontal sundial from 1727.
