Over the years, the European Collectors' Show in Figeac has become a veritable institution. On Ascension Thursday, for the past 42 years, no fewer than 200 exhibitors and 2,000 visitors from all over France and Europe have come to Figeac to sell and trade their collectibles. The Espace François Mitterrand has become a sought-after venue, a palace for collectors: the stands are teeming with postcards, overflowing with old coins and books, disappearing under old papers, toys from yesteryear, perfume samples, champagne capsules, stamp albums... A show run from the outset by the Association des Collectionneurs de Figeac et ses Environs.
