The 10m high automaton comes to life every hour in the heart of the city, near the Ducale square and the International Puppet Institute...Automaton installed in Winston Churchill square, between the International Puppet Institute and the Ardennes museum, the great puppeteer is a permanent attraction of the city. This 10-metre-high giant, the work of Jacques Monestier, presents the Ardennes legend of the four Aymon sons in twelve paintings every day from 10 am to 9 pm. Every Saturday at 9.15 p.m., all the paintings that make up the legend are presented to the public. A visit to the Musée de l'Ardenne gives a glimpse behind the scenes of this automaton and the names of the donors are engraved on large plaques affixed to the automaton.
