Randonnée Dames de Meuse

From Laifour station, take the road going up, cross the D1 and go straight on for 500 m. Continue until the entrance to the forest. Follow this path which climbs and continues in undergrowth parallel to the edge of the cliffs for 1.5 km before reaching an intersection, shortly before the game fence. Before the game fence, turn right onto the steep path that leads to the Dames de Meuse viewpoint. Take the direction of Anchamps. Cross the fence by the stairs and take the path to the south (opposite the stairs) for 1 km. Take the 2nd path on the right.Follow the forest track on the right for 800 m.Leave this forest track to go right onto the straight gas pipeline path (yellow markers and large signs). Follow the path that goes down towards Anchamps. Cross the railway line, continue for 100 m, then turn left and cross the bridge over the Meuse, take the road to the right for 50 m and join the right bank of the Meuse below. Follow the towpath on the left, which passes under the railway and in front of the lock. Go along the canal below the Dames de Meuse, pass under the road bridge, then reach the railway bridge. Cross the Meuse via the pedestrian bridge and find your starting point in Laifour station. The route of this circuit is given as an indication.
