The path continues along the edge (viewpoint on the Bar valley), then enters the forest. Take the stony path which rises on the left in the undergrowth. 3 At the top, cross the forest road, then follow the path that goes slightly to the right. Go down through the forest and then the coppice (viewpoint on the Rouge-Cogneux valley and the Beauregard farm on the opposite hillside). 4 At the foot of the hill, turn right and follow the path on the edge of the forest up to the automatic lock of Saint-Aignan. 5 Just after the lock house, turn right and follow the canal.
