This immense architectural complex is today the largest military museum in France. It houses the Army Museum, which covers military history from the Middle Ages to the present day; the Dome Church, where the tomb of Napoleon I lies; the Museum of the Plans-Reliefs and its historical models; the Museum of the Order of the Liberation, dedicated to the Free French; and the Charles de Gaulle Historial, dedicated to the founding president of the Fifth Republic
