GITES DE BELMAS - GINKGO ET BILOBA

On the Montagne Noire, at an altitude of 700 m, the gîtes of Belmas are surrounded by 16 hectares of woods and meadows. Enjoy a natural and preserved environment, the multi-centenary beeches and the streams in the woods. It is the ideal place to meet with family or friends, share a barbecue under a starry sky, jump in the pool, walk in the woods or play board games by the fire. Our two adjoining gîtes, Ginkgo and Biloba, have been renovated in an abbey farmhouse dating from the 17th century. The gîtes offer all modern comforts in a warm and rustic setting, with stone walls and exposed beams, a large fireplace and a kitchen open to the living room. Each gîte has its own entrance and a private terrace/garden. The farmhouse contains the two gîtes which are at your disposal, as well as the owners' accommodation. A very large secure swimming pool of 10m x 12m is at your disposal from mid-June to mid-September. Belmas is close to the fortified city of Carcassonne and the episcopal city of Albi, both listed as UNESCO world heritage sites, as well as to Toulouse, Gruissan-plage, and the Cathar castles (Saissac, Lastours, Hautpoul). And on foot from the gîtes, admire the beech tree of St Jammes de Bezaucelle, which won the public prize in the 2019 Remarkable Tree of France competition!
