Randonnée Roc de Miramont - Castelpers

At Les Peyronies 2.5km from Naucelle-Gare direction Albi (RN88), turn towards St Just Parking: reception area in front of the village hall 3h- 10.5km - 2* - difference in altitude 320m - yellow markings From the village hall car park (between St Just and Castelpers) follow the D532 towards Castelpers for 400m. After the Fédonie farm, turn left to go back up to the plateau. Pass by the TV relay and then turn right to find the road leading to La Calmésie 1-Continue to the right and follow the small road for 2km (beautiful views of the valleys and the Lower Ségala plateau) After the hamlet of La Barterie, a path on the left climbs towards the oppidum of the Roc de Miramont (very wide panorama). Make a round trip Go back to the road and continue left for 100m 2-Take a hairpin turn on a grassy path, which through oaks and chestnut trees goes sideways Before starting the descent at the level of a bend, a little materialized path on the right joins the "Roc Mario" which dominates the valley (make a round trip) Continue the descent towards Castelpers after a hairpin turn. End up on the D10 and follow it on the right for 150m 3-The level of the castle (very beautiful park). Cross the Céor (Possibility after the bridge to the left of a return trip to the Chapel Notre Dame du roc). Follow the road for 300m, cross the Giffou, turn right on a dirt track. Pass next to a barn. Go along the field and the river for 500m. Enter the woods (follow the signs) and find a path that leads to a pasture. Cross the pasture and a small brook and continue on the path on the right which follows the river for 800m. Pass the bridge on the right and turn left towards the car park.
