This apartment on the Place des Vosges is located on the second floor of the Hôtel de Rohan-Guéménée. Victor Hugo, the author of Notre-Dame de Paris, lived here from 1832 to 1848 and wrote some of his greatest works, such as Ruy Blas and much of Les Misérables. Piece by piece, the visitor penetrates the intimacy and the work of the great man. The museum also offers thematic temporary exhibitions.
