Desired by Napoleon I to bring together all the stock market activities in one place, the palace was built in 1826 by the architect Alexandre Théodore Brongniart, between the Place de la Concorde and the Louvre Museum. The headquarters of the Bourse until 1998, it is now one of the leading conference and event centres in Paris. Its sumptuous spaces host conferences, congresses, trade shows and public fairs, galas, prestigious receptions, fashion shows, and also film and television shoots.
