Bibliothèque Nationale de France - Richelieu

The Richelieu-Louvois site is the birthplace of the Bibliothèque nationale de France and houses the research rooms of the BnF (Manuscripts, Prints and Photography, Coins, Medals and Antiques, Performing Arts and Music departments), the library of the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA) and the library of the École nationale des Chartes. Its collections include some exceptional items, including the throne of Dagobert and the Codex Peresianus, a 13th-century Mayan codex.
