The Palais de la Porte Dorée is an Art Deco building located on the edge of the Bois de Vincennes. Built in 1931 for the International Colonial Exhibition, the building is dedicated to the history and cultures of immigration in France. The permanent exhibition Repères offers a tour filled with migrants' testimonies, extracts from news reports, and old and contemporary works of art. The donation gallery highlights life stories from the past and present, illustrated by objects, documents and photographs.
