Founded in 1228 by Saint Louis, the largest Cistercian abbey in the Ile-de-France is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Its buildings are classified as historical monuments: the cloister, the original latrine building, the ruins of the abbey church... Its three medieval-inspired gardens and its vast 6.5-hectare park are equally remarkable. The abbey hosts many cultural events each year.
