Discover the EDF dam of Sarrans (1934), the 8th highest dam in France (105 m high and 225 m long).
The old watchtower of the EDF Sarrans dam has been converted into an open-air information area. Its belvedere offers an exceptional view on the work which remains the symbol of the industrial and human epic that represented the construction of these large dams on the valley. Information panels explain its operation, its history and its environment (Natura 2000 zone). Sit down on one of the picnic tables and enjoy this stop.
