Going down to Castelnau-Pégayrols, certainly one of the most beautiful villages of the Aveyron with its 5 classified monuments, make a stop at Micropolis "The famous city of insects", then at St Beauzély whose castle shelters a museum of the rural life Head for Roquefort-sur-Soulzon to visit the world's most famous cheese cellars before turning off onto the D999 and then the D12 towards Camarès, a small village with a medieval red sandstone bridge. At the end, you will find Sylvanès and its Cistercian Abbey, the most important in the south of France and especially renowned for its sacred music concerts. Return to the Tarn valley and stop at Brousse-le-Château, classified as "Most Beautiful Village in France", remarkable for its fortified church. Finally, go back up to Réquista and stimulate your curiosity with the most important sheep market in Aveyron before reaching the lake of Villefranche-de-Panat and its beaches.
