The Louis Aragon municipal media library, a place of culture, knowledge and leisure, is above all a place of welcome, sharing and exchange open to all. The choice of its new program for the weeks and months to come, detailed on these pages, perfectly meets this vocation as a multipurpose cultural house. Each of us, whatever his tastes and his requirements, will find there material to be enriched, to be entertained, in a word will find there matter to pleasure. Built on concrete stilts dug into the spongy subsoil, the multimedia library was designed by Emile Pamart. It has original architectural features including the layout and the use of traditional materials like brick and wood.
