The only museum of its kind in France, dedicated to Jules Muraire, also known as Raimu, whom Orson Welles described as the world's greatest actor.

The Raimu Museum moved to Marignane in 2014 in a "bourgeois villa" from the last century, entirely renovated by the City of Marignane, Isabelle Nohain-Raimu, granddaughter of the actor and Jean Nohain is happy to welcome you. The life and career of Jules Muraire dit RAIMU are staged there through numerous exceptional documents from the actor's family's personal collection: THEATRE: Lodge with its familiar objects and its famous travel trunk. Friends from the beginning. Correspondence signed Marcel Achard, Sacha Guitry, Georges Simenon, Marcel Pagnol.... Pay slips from the Comédie Française . CINEMA: Original posters, more than 800 photos, manuscripts and contracts, shooting clothes. His Caesar received posthumously PRIVATE LIFE: Family, friends, papers, furniture and personal objects, costumes... A picture wall, a projection room, interactive digital terminals for the distribution of film extracts and archival documents bring to life what Orson Welles described as "the greatest actor in the world" ....
