Le moulin de Pallières

The Pallières windmill, named after the plot of land where it was built, dates from the 18th century. It stopped working between 1862 and 1866, the date of the last census. No millers were listed in Les Pennes Mirabeau after that time. The monument became a symbol of the town, but was gradually abandoned until the first restoration work in 1982. Then, in 2019, a complete renovation was launched. Now it is once again a living monument with a miller at the helm. He makes flour for the village's organic bakery.
