Through its activities, projects and networks, the OPM strives to promote and socialize Occitan culture.
The Ostau was founded in 2000 with the aim of spreading Occitan culture in Marseille. Ten years later, the OPM is still present, and offers a real space of expression to the Occitan culture, as well as to the other local cultures, implanted on the ground of Marseille. It is through meetings and exchanges that the Occitan culture in Marseille has acquired its specificity. As a cultural centre, we approach culture in all its forms: conferences and debates, concerts, film club, song and dance workshops, language courses, etc.
