SAINT-ZACHARIE - La forêt du Défens par la piste de l'eau

From the town centre, go to Place du 4 Septembre in the direction of Plan d'Aups Sainte-Baume on the RD480 and turn right on Route des Nayes until you reach the parking de la Source. 1- At the directional post in the middle of the large meadow opposite, take to the left the blue marked path towards the bridge of Angèle. Cross several times the brook of Peyruis to join the road after 1 km. Follow the road on the right on the blue marked path up to reach the directional post of the bridge of Angèle. 2- Turn to the right in the direction of "la bergerie de Peyruis par la Verrerie", cross the bridge and go up to the left on the track. Continue on the blue marked footpath up to a crossing of tracks at the level of a ford. 3- Then turn to the left in the direction of "Saint Zacharie par le défens" on the wide track which goes upward. At the cistern, continue on the left up to a crossing of two tracks with a signpost. Turn to the right in the direction of "Saint-Zacharie" on the stony track with a steep descent. Join a new runway on the left following the blue markings. At the signpost, go down on the right by the small path that joins the barrier near the RD480. Then take on the left the DFCI track that leads back to the car park of the source of Les Nayes and return to the centre of Saint-Zacharie by the route taken on the outward journey.
