The Garonne river and the SNCF train station are less than 10 minutes' walk away, so you can come by train from Toulouse without your car, and join the TransGarona (cycling route from the Val d'Aran in Spain to Toulouse) or the ViaGarona, a stage on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route, from Toulouse to Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, one of France's favorite villages, 9km away! The Lac de Montréjeau is just 3km away (30min walk or 15mins bike ride) for swimming, water sports and golf. Saint-Pé-D'Ardet natural lake 17km away, formed in an ancient volcano. Bagnères-de-Luchon (ski and spa), Le Mourtis and Spain are a 40-minute drive away.
