Eglise Notre-Dame de la Nativité

France > Hauts-de-France > Oise > 60240 > Chavençon > Rue de la Harpe

This church, with its atypical shape, is composed of a choir with a flat chevet and a nave of 3 bays with aisles. The oldest part, the chevet of the choir, dates from the 12th century. The nave dates from the 16th century as can be seen from the Doric capitals on the piers which act as an intermediary between the nave and the aisles. On the facade, the two buttresses serve as a base for a curious little bell tower that gives this church its original silhouette.
