L'ESCALE

Its blue and black facade, made of glass and metal, takes its place in the landscape of the urban centre, alongside the heritage building of the town hall, the art school, the Utopia cinema and the media library. This construction is the culmination of fifteen years of a proactive and forward-looking cultural policy. Over time, a real familiarity has been created between art and the inhabitants, as companies, festivals and artistic structures have been established on its territory. l'Escale has crystallized this dynamic, welcoming classical music, theatre and contemporary dance, diversifying towards jazz, song, puppetry, circus, young audiences.. The auditorium has a capacity of 491 seats with adjustable bleachers, is equipped with perfect acoustics, and is complemented by a vast convivial hall and a large restaurant-bistro with terrace on the first floor.
