In 1770, the town's mayor and consuls commissioned a new fountain from master sculptor Sieur Bernus of Salon and mason Jean-Baptiste Louche of Pélissanne.
Its clover-shaped basin surrounds a column topped by a sculpture of a pelican and its young in a nest, which became the emblem of the commune. The fountain has been a listed monument since 1942. The structure is made of local Calissanne stone.
