Section B13 of the GR2013. From Peypin to Mimet. An 11.7km route to discover the Massif de l'Etoile, and superb views of the surrounding area.
The route will offer you beautiful views of Mount Julien, the Sainte-Baume and the Garlaban. At the entrance of Saint-Savournin, you will discover an old coal quarry, the site of the Léonie well. To reach Mimet, the path will cross part of the Etoile massif, in a wood of white oaks. Mimet being the highest village of the department, you can admire the view of Gardanne and the slag heaps.
