The Centre Culturel Ipoustéguy, a place of cultural and artistic expression and encounter, is home to the world?s largest collection of works - monumental bronzes, intimate marbles, refined graphic works - by Ipoustéguy, a major 20th-century sculptor born in Dun-sur-Meuse in 1920. He died in his native town in 2006. An insatiable worker, he produced 600 sculptures and hundreds of watercolors, drawings and paintings. His works can be seen all over the world, in the greatest public collections and art capitals: New York, Washington, Paris, Berlin, London... Admired, controversial, moving or disturbing, Ipoustéguy leaves no one indifferent: his work touches the viewer with its universal themes and expressive power. Free temporary exhibitions are also on offer throughout the year: painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, ceramics, literature... TEMPORARILY CLOSED
