Departure from Couesques, a former workers' town that was very much alive in the past when the Truyère dams were built, and which has now become a hamlet. The first signposting is at the junction of the old road to Mur de Barrez and the one going down to the dam. This circuit takes you to the grandiose viewpoints of the EDF reservoir which tames the Truyère. Passing through Izaguette, a magnificent hamlet with an oven and restored houses. You can picnic on the waterside near the lake of the dam where tables are installed .
