The main activity of the association CHEMIN DE FER HISTORIQUE DE LA VOIE SACRÉE (C.F.H.V.S.) is the tourist operation of the Suzanne steam locomotive, listed as a historic monument, on part of the former route of the local railroad from Bar-le-Duc to Verdun. The operation of this historic railroad offers visitors the chance to travel "as it was in 1910", and to take part in a range of events designed to commemorate the Great War.
