In 2011, a literary garden has been created at the back of the former wash house, at the corner of rue Alain Fournier (D154) and rue du Moulin (D332). A path leads us from panel to panel on a 700 m² plot of land where stone blocks are used as benches You can discover 16 panels in 3 languages (French, German and English) evoking, through extracts from their texts, the experiences and thoughts of emblematic fighting writers of the Great War. Meet Jean Giono, Louis Pergaud, Maurice Genevoix, Alain Fournier, Wilfrid Owen (GB), Ernst Jünger (D), Charles Péguy, Paul Cazin, Ruppert Brooke (GB), Roger Martin du Gard, Edelf Köppen (D), Edmont Vittet, Allain, John Mc Crae (CDN) and Guillaume Apollinaire.
