LE PARC DES RÉCOLLETS

Garden created in the 1910s on the initiative of the company of Saintignon and Co, near the former convent of Récollets, on a plot of land belonging to him, with plane tree avenue, pond, bridges and footbridges over the Chiers canalized and rotunda built on the borehole. It is also the place where the Source des Récollets was discovered, at the origin of the thermal adventure at Longwy, before the First World War. Redeveloped in 1927 according to plans by the town architect Pierre Dupuis, the park is now a public garden.
