France > Grand Est > Moselle > 57390 > Audun-le-Tiche
Situated at the north-western tip of the Moselle department, on the border with Luxembourg, Audun-le-Tiche has been established and developed over the centuries at the heart of a network of valleys tributary to the Alzette. The Katzenberg, whose translation from Franconian means "Fortified Mount", is the site of a community of individuals in the Neolithic period. Its dominant position enabled them to keep an eye on the surrounding area.
