Located in the communes of Gorcy and Ville-Houdlémont in France and Signeulx and Baranzy (commune of Musson) in Belgium, the nature reserve, through which the Cussigny stream flows, currently covers an area of around 40 hectares. It is a haven of peace for flora and fauna. In the past, this marshland provided fodder thanks to a well-functioning ancestral irrigation system. There are several types of habitat on the site, attracting numerous bird species. To see: the marsh, the hay meadows, the woodlands, the disused railroad line (perfect for observing the site) and the explanatory panels. Tables and benches have been set up, as well as a cyclo-pedestrian trail (on the old railway line, a vestige of the steelmaking era).
