Making music: season 2. Discover the exhibition based on the theme of "Music-making", and see the diversity of the museum?s collection. Experience: look at the instruments and other collections on display, listen to music and personal accounts, observe the gestures of luthiers and bow makers, touch the instruments being made and the tools used, try out the instruments. Immerse yourself in a luthier?s workshop: the museum?s workshop, presented in situ next to the museum, is a former luthier?s workshop where guitars and mandolins were made. Take part in the "Around the Workbench" tours of violin and guitar making. Stroll along the Sentier des luthiers: an urban trail to discover how instrument making has shaped the history of the town of Mirecourt. Listening to music, meeting craftsmen and artists, exchanging ideas and practicing, the Musée de Mirecourt also offers a rich cultural program linked to the exhibition.
