Built in a green setting, on the plateau that determines the right bank slope of the Moselle, between Tournebride in Moulins-lès-Metz and the hill of Saint Croix in Metz, the "Château de Courcelles" and its park offer a very open view of the coast, especially Saint Quentin. This very beautiful manor house, whose construction dates back to the early 18th century, appears for the first time in 1716, on a plan by Nicolas Duchêne as belonging to "Monsieur de Courcelles". The castle comes alive with its slate roofs accompanied by dormer windows and captures the light thanks to its nine high window bays arranged on two levels. In the montignian fabric alongside religious buildings, military buildings, educational institutions, the castle of Courcelles is the only large-scale civil construction that offers a history and a living architecture. The Espace Europa-Courcelles opens its doors to you. At the castle of Courcelles, everyone will be able to ride an elegant, convivial and respectful train between mirrors and mirrors surmounted by overmantels. Parquet floors, woodwork, marble, panelling and gypsum will welcome conversations and talks punctuated by the brushing of silks and the whispering of tall trees repeating the rumours of the valley.
