SENTIER DES TROIS FONTAINES

Start : Mazirot, rue de l'église, orientation table. Distance : 11,5 km Average time : 3h00 Yellow round FFRandonnée markings The Trois Fontaines trail takes you on a discovery of the local environment, its fauna and flora in a landscape of forest, meadows and orchards. Note that the path takes in a section of the Mazirot fitness trail. Along the way, you can discover statues, the chapel of Rabiémont, the monks' fountain.. 1. Join the junction with the D10b and take it on the left. At the crossroads, turn right into the Rue du Lavoir. Leave the village. The path crosses an open landscape composed of meadows and orchards 2. At the three walnut trees (picnic table), continue the path towards the plateau (view of the hills and the village of Mazirot). Enter a wood. The path follows a section of the Mazirot fitness trail. 3. At the top, cross the Roman road and admire the statues. Reach D 17; cross it (statue). > On the left, possibility to go to the fountain of the Monks, 500 m away. 4. Continue straight on towards the chapel of Rabiémont. At the picnic table, turn right. Go along the edge of the forest (view on the village of Villers, then on Mirecourt) 5. At the hunting hut, turn left. Follow the path towards the Haut-de-Camerelle wood, always in the direction of the chapel of Rabiémont. 6. At the chapel, turn left and follow a line of fruit trees. At the bottom, turn right and take the path to the centre of Villers (gîte in the village). Go past the church and the war memorial. 7. Turn right into the rue de la Fontaine-aux-Moines. Cross the D17, then the Roman road and continue on the small road, through the fields, with the hills in view. At the calvary (dating from 1866), cross the D 10b. Take the path opposite to return to the starting point (by visiting the village).
