In the heart of Lorraine, in Rozelieures, lies the Grallet-Dupic family distillery, one of France?s leading spirits producers. In the middle of a 300-hectare cereal and tree farm, facing the volcano in the foothills of the Vosges mountains, the distillery has been producing delicious Mirabelle plum brandies, Lorraine's emblematic fruit, since 1890. At the turn of the 2000s, the idea of creating their own whisky emerged. The distillery masters every stage in the production of Rozelieures whisky: from the earth to the glass. Today, Rozelieures is one of the whisky brands in the world that owns and controls 100% of its production. Grain, malting, brewing, distillation and aging are all in-house - energy self-sufficiency included - in a rare and unique model of vertical integration. The distillery has won numerous awards, most recently the Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition in 2021, and is now showcasing 5 whiskies on a permanent basis.
