The Fédération de Meurthe-et-Moselle pour la Pêche et la Protection du Milieu Aquatique (Meurthe-et-Moselle Federation for Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic Environment), an association recognised as being of public utility, is responsible, under the supervision of the Prefect, for implementing a policy of management and prevention of aquatic environments. Its main missions are to encourage the organisation of associative fishing, to develop the fight against pollution and attacks on watercourses and to encourage the promotion and development of leisure fishing.
