ÉGLISE SAINT-DENIS

At the bend of a walk in Roussy-le-Village, you can admire the Saint Denis church of a very contemporary style made of concrete, ashlar and limestone. It dates from 1956 and contains an altar, 6 statues from the 17th century, a crypt and stained glass windows from the 20th century. Outside, a contemporary sculpture of Christ in Majesty and the Tetramorph. Its 33-metre high tower will make you dizzy! Take the time to explore the small Garden of Remembrance behind the church and discover surprising tombstones, including that of Louis Masson Salmchâteau, assassinated in 1809.
