GROS OUVRAGE DU MICHELSBERG

Discover the formidable history of this fortification which is still too little known. This underground journey is a lively way to learn about the history of our region during the last world war. The fort of Michelsberg is a large artillery work of the famous Maginot line. Composed of 5 combat blocks and an entrance, it stretches over more than a kilometre of galleries at a depth of 30 metres. It also has the largest model of turret of the Maginot Line; a 75 mm turret weighing 265 tons.
