BASILIQUE SAINT-MAURICE

A jewel of thousand-year-old architecture, it accompanies the highlights of local life, watching over the city with its belfry tower like a sentinel of pink Vosges sandstone. Born in the 11th century, it was originally a parish church but also an abbey, under the name of St Goëry whose relics cured "the evil of the fiery".
