LA GRAND RUE

A shopping street, the Grand'Rue has beautiful 18th century facades whose windows, decorated with clasps and braces, are the most characteristic elements. Going down the Grand'Rue, you can stop at number 64 at the Martin jewelry store. This is the former home of Joseph Beunat, founder of a stucco decorating factory, better known under the name of "Pâte de Sarrebourg". The jewelry shop has retained the decoration of the walls and ceiling (currently closed). Despite the ingenuity of Joseph Beunat, the factory only knew a short period of prosperity.
