It dominates the ridge line that separates Alsace from Lorraine. It offers a superb panorama of the Vosges mountains, the plain of Alsace, the Black Forest and the Alps on a clear day. An inn and an orientation table top the summit. LA TÊTE DE NAYEMONT (967 m) : The particularity of the Tête de Nayemont is that it is made of granite at its base and sandstone at its top. Thus, the ascent begins with a gentle slope, which becomes more pronounced as you approach the sandstone summit.
