Julien Vautrin's Ferme des 3 Petits Colibris has been based in the valleys of the village of Saint-Médard since 2015. It specializes in market gardening, fruit production and free-range pig farming. The farm?s principle is simple and clever: the land dedicated to market gardening is prepared by the pigs before sowing and planting, which aerates and enriches the soil. In the same way, fruit trees provide the shade and minerals necessary for the growth of vegetables, spices and other roots? Pork and cured meats, vegetables and fruit are all sold from certified organic farms. You can find them at AMAPs in Dieuze, Haut-Clocher, Lucy, Ancy-sur-Moselle, Arnaville, Champenoux and Amance, as well as at Inventerre du Pré Vert in Dieuze.
