CIRCUIT VTTAE LE HOHNECK

Difficult 21 km circuit. Accessible depending on weather conditions. Departure: La Bresse-Hohneck station. From the station, go down the main road for about 1 km and take the asphalt road on the left towards the Lac de Blanchemer. Drive up to the lakeside and follow the lake on the left. Once you arrive at the forest shelter, follow the markings of the black mountain bike circuit n°15 which will take you across the ski slopes of the La Bresse-Hohneck resort to the Lande dam (small technical passage for 200 to 300m before reaching the dam, be careful!). Continue to follow the circuit n°15 until the foot of the Hohneck. From there, you will take the winding road that will lead you to the summit to admire the 360° view (on a clear day, you can see the Alps!). You will then return to the Auberge de la Chaume de Schmargult to join the green E3 signposted circuit which will take you down wide forest paths to the resort.
