Departure from the Première Sapinière (access from Raon l'Etape). After passing under the RN 59 through the tunnel, take the forest road on the left that runs along the bypass of Raon l'Etape then on the right the path that leads to the second Sapinière (Etival-Clairefontaine) Continue on the path that leads to the Pierre d'Appel by the circuit of the cornice eventually. After going around the Pierre d'Appel, come back to the TV relay and then follow the path towards the Col de Trace via the Roche du Bouc and the Roche du Docteur Baudot. After the Col de Trace, follow the forest road to the right and then take the Voie Romaine which climbs to the right. Before reaching the summit, turn left towards the rocks of Faucompierre and the German Cemetery After crossing the Route de la République, continue on the forest road which leads directly to the Première Sapinière car park To be seen on the course - the Calling Stone: alt. 492 m., rock which constitutes the eastern end of the former fortified enclosure of the Côte de Répy (Celtic camp) with very beautiful views over the Valleys of the Meurthe, the Rabodeau and the Plain.
